About

In short, this Open Source project is all about providing IRC regulars, channel operators and bot owners with comprehensive ways of archiving and querying their IRC logfiles. The software itself is licensed under version 2 of the GNU General Public License.

What is the IRC Collective?

The most important part of the IRC Collective is the parser. It's modular architecture makes the parser more flexible in the way it can process input and handle output. The output of the parser is primarily used to add to an SQL database that can in turn be queried by say a web application. The IRC Collective provides the user with all three of them. The parser can be extended by defining new input formats and output handlers.

How can it be useful?
