New Release Available: 0.1.4

Posted by Ramses on Friday, 24th of August 2007

A bit later than planned, but it's done. This release contains the following changes:

For a list of detailed changes, see the changelog (the CHANGES file inside the distribution archive or the online version).

This release also includes three important bugfixes, two of them used to crash the parser, so it's advised to upgrade.

Both the installation guide and the user's manual have been completely revised.

Development Update

Posted by Ramses on Saturday, 18th of August 2007

In case you had not noticed yet, the source code repository has been brought back online again, click here to check it out. I've also created a symbolic link to point to the latest snapshot, which can be found here: snapshot-latest.tar.gz.

To those who are interested, I have put the parser API documentation online.

A new point release will be available soon!

Point Release Completed: 0.1.3

Posted by Ramses on Monday, 23th of July 2007

With this new point release we are closing in on the 0.2.0 milestone! This release adds support for PostgreSQL and SQLite. To make this possible we changed the database slightly so you will need to recreate your database if you want to upgrade to version 0.1.3.

And thanks to Martijn Timmermans we now have someone that can test the installation on Microsoft Windows. He has also started a draft version on the installation guide for Windows which can be found in the docs/ folder inside the gzipped tarball. See the CHANGES file (online version) for more information on this point release.

Mailinglists Back Online

Posted by Ramses on Thursday, 12th of July 2007

A sourceforge.net project has been registered to host the IRC collective mailinglists. This means you can now subscribe to any of the mailinglists to stay current with the progress on the project (go to the support page to subscribe). In addition, the RSS feed is now up to date.

There will be a new point release available shortly, and of course it will be announced on irc-collective-news.

I have just uploaded a new point release which includes three bug fixes. I'm trying to release more often and work towards the first stable release along with proper documentation. Changes are recorded inside the CHANGES file that comes with the gzipped tarball.

Services Partially Restored

Posted by Ramses on Thursday, 5th of July 2007

The forum and tracker are back online again. Unfortunately not in the same state as they once were; I have lost the SQL backups.

My e-mail address ramses at irc dash collective dot org and the alias rjm at irc dash collective dot org as well as the mailing lists remain unavailable until I have a working solution. In the mean time you can mail to ramses at matabadal dot nl and resort to the forums.
