There are several ways you can get help or support other users. The webforum and the IRC channel are especially geared toward community building, while the mailinglists are for those who want to read the discussions from their own mailboxes.

Etiquette

To make sure the mailinglists and forum remain usable, please follow these rules:

read the documentation and use the search function before you start asking questions
use the english language, check your grammar and spelling before posting
use a descriptive title, keep it short and to the point

The forum is a good place to exchange information with other users. The forum is also used to provide feedback on the news page.

Discuss development related topics. This one is useful for those who want to stay current with the latest developments and perhaps want to contribute themselves by sending patches to the list.

irc-collective-commitlog (subscribe)

This mailinglist is used by the core developers and the version control system itself and contains the diff patches cq. checkins against the latest development snapshot. No archive available, however you can query the source code repository for revision history.
